ISU Defending the Environment - Part 2
What Would Otherwise Go Unseen
What would you do to protect your special place?
The photographs that I have taken outside my community are a representation of the nature that humans observe in the environment that many of us walk by without considering its true beauty and colour. If these areas were threatened by development and or change, the natural beauty of these areas will diminish and their harmonization with the environment will weaken when one views a landscape. Development and change in an environment consist of dull colours, such as a high-rise building where they comprise of grey and dark colours that are not too vibrant. In order to protect this special place, development of dull coloured manufactured facilities/buildings should not be involved in the environment; the manufactured buildings can create negative colour contrast between the vibrant colours of the community and clash.
